Our well established Podiatry practice is seeking an experienced part time Office Assistant/Receptionist.
Our ideal candidate has all the qualifications listed below but, most importantly, would treat our patients with kindness and respect.
The position requires a highly organized, personable and flexible team player with the ability to multi-task in a busy office setting.
The right individual will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a patient facing position that requires the ability to handle all aspects of patient check in/check out processes, while managing busy phones and maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment rooms.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Answering phones Greeting patients at check in/check out Scheduling appointments and managing appointment calendar Verifying patient insurance information and confirming insurance referrals Maintain patient records and update information as necessary Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing and scanning documents Maintain exam room cleanliness between patient visits Requirements:
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong Organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills, bith verbal and written Ability to handle protected medical information confidentially Familiarity with electronic medical records is desired Positive and productive attitude The most important aspect of the job is being a caring, compassionate, dependable and trustworthy person.
Proper speech and grammar is also a must.

The position would require working on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
