Established, successful dog daycare facility looking for a desk receptionist and a dog attendant to become members of our team! Starting pay with no experience is $17/hour and goes up from there, those with experience starting pay is negotiable! Hiring a Dog Attendant & a Desk Receptionist 1 part time position and 1 full time position Eligible candidate for desk receptionist must have:
confidence working with great clients who love us! able to respond to emails using Microsoft Outlook, utilize Word & Excel, has good phone etiquette, is organized and able to multi-task, confident working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, aware of dog behavior, able to read dog body language and ensure the dogs' safety at all times, reliability as you will be opening the desk and/or closing the desk, and confidence working in a somewhat autonomous position.
Eligible candidate for dog attendant must be:
capable of managing a pack of dogs, confident working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, able to read dog body language and ensure the dogs' safety at all times, willing to clean, patient and calm, able to maintain a safe environment for all the dogs, skilled at working in a team environment, able to clean & sanitize dog bedrooms and the dog park, and able to distribute food and administer medications.
Viable applicant must:
Love dogs, Have attained a High School diploma or GED, Provide references who are able to confirm reliability, Be physically able to stand for hours at a time, Be physically able to control, move & manage dogs of all sizes, Be patient, punctual, responsible and have a team-player attitude! We are looking for committed, long-term applicants who are flexible and able to successfully do this physically demanding, but fun job.
